Feeding Instructions: Recommended daily portions shown in the table are guidelines and indicate suggested approximate daily amounts (based on expected adult dog weight). The amount of food given to a young dog depends on age, breed, activity level, and appetite. Use your own judgment to determine the correct amount of food needed for your dog. To introduce food after weaning, it is recommended to moisten it with water or milk to soften the food and provide 3 or 4 meals a day, gradually reducing the amount of added liquid until the puppy starts eating solid food. Once the puppy reaches 6 months of age, the number of meals can be reduced to one or two per day. Ensure your dog has access to fresh water. Store the food in a cool, dry place.
