Description
Ataxxa 1250mg/250mg is a solution for topical application for dogs weighing between 10 to 25kg. This product, delivered in practical 2.5ml pipettes, contains a unique combination of two active ingredients: 1250mg Permethrin and 250mg Imidacloprid. These substances work synergistically, providing effective protection against fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Ataxxa not only offers effective protection but also convenience and safety for your dog.
Key features:
- Prevents and combats flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) in dogs. Fleas on the dog die within one day of starting treatment.
- Exhibits lasting acaricidal activity against tick infestations.
- Provides repellent action against the sand fly Phlebotomus perniciosus for three weeks and against mosquitoes Aedes aegypti from day 7 to day 14 after administration of the product.
- Reduces the risk of Leishmania infantum infection transmitted by sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for up to 3 weeks.
Indications for use:
- Prevention and treatment of flea infestations in dogs
- Prevention of tick infestations
- Prevention of feeding by sand flies and mosquitoes
Contraindications:
- Do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age or weighing less than 10kg
- Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to active substances or any excipient
- Do not use in cats
- Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin
Method of administration:
Before use, carefully read the leaflet included in the package. Remove the single-dose pipette from the packaging. Holding the pipette vertically, twist and remove the tip. Turn the tip around and place the other end on the pipette. Press and twist the tip to pierce the seal, then remove it from the pipette. Part the fur on the animal's back between the shoulder blades to expose the skin. Place the end of the pipette against the skin and squeeze several times to expel its contents directly onto the skin.
