How to use: Unlock the clippers by sliding the lever located by the blade. Insert the tip of the nail between the blades. Cut from bottom to top, keeping the clippers perpendicular to the nail. Avoid cutting the nails too short.
Tip: Do not trim the nails too short. Cutting into the living tissue of the nail causes pain and heavy bleeding. If the pet has light-colored nails, you can easily see the nail matrix forming a light pink line. Trim the tips of the nails at least 2mm away from the matrix line. For pets with dark nails, finding the matrix is not as straightforward. Trim the nail only slightly. Pay attention to the dark spot in the middle of the freshly cut nail - if you see it, the matrix starts just behind it. Do not cut more.
