Coconut oil moisturizes, strengthens, nourishes, smooths the hair structure, and adds shine. The numerous vitamins, minerals, and beneficial fatty acids it contains condition the skin and hair follicles. They accelerate growth, prevent brittleness, and split ends. Additionally, coconut oil creates a type of filter on the hair that protects against the harmful effects of sunlight, hot air from hair dryers, and other adverse environmental factors.
