Description
Preventive Tick and Mosquito Collar Prevendog 1.304g for Dogs. Prevents tick infestations (transmission of pathogenic microorganisms to the dog caused by bites), repels mosquitoes and gnats. Designed for large and very large breeds weighing over 25kg and with a neck circumference of up to 65cm. The collar is gray, and its design protects the animal from choking. If the animal accidentally gets caught on an object (e.g., a branch while playing in the park), the collar stretches under the pressure of the dog's force, allowing for easy and quick release.
Indications for use:
- Infestation by parasites sensitive to deltamethrin
- Prevention of tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for a period of 6 months
- Prevention of mosquito bites (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for a period of 5 months
- Prevention of gnat bites (Culex pipiens) for a period of 6 months
One collar with a length of 75cm (32.60g) contains:
- Deltamethrin: 1.304g (active substance)
- Titanium dioxide (E171): 0.465g (excipients)
- Activated carbon: 0.024g (excipients)
Contraindications:
- Due to the lack of appropriate studies, do not use in puppies under 7 weeks of age.
- Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any excipient.
- Do not use in cats.
- Do not use in dogs with skin lesions.
Precautions for use:
Accidental ingestion of this product may cause adverse effects, including neurotoxic effects. Store the product in its original packaging. Keep the collar in the sachet until use. Do not smoke, eat, or drink while handling the collar. Keep away from food, drinks, and feed. Do not allow children to play with the collar or put it in their mouths. Immediately dispose of any remnants or cut pieces of the collar. After putting on the collar, wash hands with cold water. In case of accidental contact with the mouth or ingestion, seek medical assistance and present the information leaflet or packaging to the doctor. Avoid prolonged contact with the collar or the dog wearing the collar. This includes avoiding sleeping in the same bed with a dog wearing the collar; this is especially important for children. Deltamethrin may cause hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions). Individuals with confirmed hypersensitivity to deltamethrin should avoid contact with this veterinary medicinal product and the animal wearing it. In case of hypersensitivity reactions, seek medical assistance. OTC product - available without a prescription.
