Description
Fypryst 268mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in dogs weighing between 20 to 40kg. The product contains the active ingredient - fipronil, which has insecticidal and acaricidal properties, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one 2.68ml pipette of the solution. Fypryst can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as part of the treatment for allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in dogs. The ingredients of the product are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit the dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the infestation of Trichodectes canis fleas. It is intended for external application to the skin by spot-on administration. It shows effective action against fleas for 2 months and against ticks for 4 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).

Dosage and administration:
Before use, carefully read the leaflet included in the package. Remove the single-dose pipette from the package. Holding the pipette vertically, twist and remove the cap. Turn the cap around and place the other end on the pipette. Press and twist the cap to pierce the seal, then remove it from the pipette. Part the fur on the animal's back between the shoulder blades so that the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette against the skin and squeeze several times to apply the contents directly onto the skin. Do not bathe the dog for 2 days after applying the drops and no more than once a week.
Tip: Monthly administration of the product is recommended in cases of high risk of recurring flea infestations, if the dog is allergic to flea bites, and for necessary control of tick infestations or frequent bathing of the dog with hypoallergenic or conditioning shampoos. In areas where there is no serious threat of flea and tick infestations, the Fypryst spot-on solution can be administered every second or third month.
