Description
PerusPomppa Harness for Dogs - a warm winter jacket suitable for both wet and cold weather conditions. It provides excellent protection against wind, rain, and snow while ensuring thermal comfort for the most important parts of your dog's body. Ideal for daily walks as well as more vigorous activities. Its unique design allows full freedom of movement, making it highly valued and often used for various sports activities and training. The jacket is made from two types of material. The outer layer is waterproof polyester coated with a hydrophobic layer, resistant to both rainy and snowy conditions. In an effort to protect the environment, it is made from recycled fibers. The interior features soft and warm synthetic fur with excellent insulating properties. The lining is anti-static and prevents long fur from tangling. The high, foldable collar protects the neck. A minimal number of seams reduces the risk of chafing and ensures greater waterproofing. Although the jacket has only one fastening at the waist and no straps or elastics for the hind legs, it stays securely in place during any activity. It is easy to put on and take off. Very lightweight, it takes up little space when folded, making it easy to take on any adventure without adding weight to your luggage. Reflective elements ensure your dog's safety in poor lighting conditions. An opening at the collar allows for leash attachment. Another opening on the back allows for leash attachment to a harness that the dog can wear under the jacket. This design minimizes the risk of water seeping under the jacket.

Care instructions for Pomppa dog clothing:
- Avoid unnecessary washing. Frequent washing causes fabric wear and degradation of its coating. If there are no visible stains or dirt, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or placing it in the freezer to eliminate any odors. If necessary, wash the garment in a washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Do not use harsh detergents, stain removers, bleach, or fabric softeners. After washing, hang the garment to dry; do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. The outer layer of the jacket is coated with a hydrophobic layer that degrades after multiple washes. You can restore it using waterproofing products available in outdoor clothing stores.
Choosing the right size:
A well-chosen size ensures the best possible thermal protection and full freedom of movement for your dog. The right size protects the most important muscle groups and guarantees that the garment stays in place even during sprints or wild jumps. Pomppa jackets and sweatshirts are designed to fit various dog shapes: slim, with a broad chest, or with pronounced and developed musculature. When selecting a size, it is important that the jacket does not restrict the dog's mobility or cause discomfort in any way. The determining factor in choosing the right size for the PerusPomppa jacket is the length of the dog's back. We recommend avoiding choosing a smaller size than indicated by the dog's back length. Depending on the dog's proportions and coat type, the appropriate size may be larger than the size indicated by back length. Another factor to consider is that due to the thickness of the materials, for the coat to fit comfortably on the dog, its waist circumference should be slightly larger than the dog's waist circumference. Depending on the dog's proportions, the strap may not necessarily sit at the narrowest part of the dog's waist.
About the brand:
The first Pomppa products were created by the brand's founder, Meri Alku. Participating in numerous agility competitions with her dogs, she searched for suitable clothing that would meet the requirement of combining adequate thermal protection with full freedom of movement, especially during intense activity.
