Description
PerusPomppa is a warm winter jacket for dogs, suitable for both wet and cold weather conditions. It effectively protects against wind, rain, and snow while providing thermal comfort to the most important parts of your dog's body. Ideal for both daily walks and more active outings. Thanks to its unique design, it allows full freedom of movement for your pet, making it highly valued and often used for various sports activities and training. The jacket is made from two types of material. The outer layer is waterproof polyester coated with a hydrophobic layer, resistant to both rainy and snowy conditions. In an effort to care for the environment, it is made from recycled fibers. The interior of the jacket features soft and warm synthetic fur with excellent insulating properties. The lining is anti-static, preventing long fur from tangling. The high, foldable collar protects the neck. A minimal number of seams reduces the risk of chafing and provides greater waterproofing. Although the jacket has only one fastening at the waist and no straps or elastics for the hind legs, it fits the body perfectly and stays in place during any activity. It is easy to put on and take off. It is very lightweight and does not take up much space when folded, making it easy to take on any adventure without adding weight to your luggage. Reflective elements ensure your dog's safety in poor lighting conditions.

How to care for Pomppa dog clothing:
- Avoid unnecessary washing. Frequent washing not only consumes water but also wears out the fabric and its coating. If there are no visible stains or dirt, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or place it in the freezer to eliminate any odors.
- If necessary, wash the clothing in a washing machine on a delicate cycle at 30°C.
- Do not use aggressive detergents, stain removers, bleaches, or fabric softeners.
- After washing, hang the clothing to dry; do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
- The outer layer of the jacket is coated with a hydrophobic layer that degrades after multiple washes. You can restore it using impregnation products commonly available in outdoor clothing stores.
Choosing the right size:
A well-chosen size provides the best possible thermal protection and ensures full freedom of movement for the dog. The right size protects the most important muscle groups and guarantees that the clothing will stay in place even during sprints or wild jumps. Pomppa jackets and sweatshirts are designed to fit various dog body shapes: slim, with a broad chest, and with distinct and developed musculature. When selecting a size, it is important that the jacket does not restrict the dog's mobility or cause discomfort in any other way. The determining factor in choosing the right size for the PerusPomppa jacket is the length of the dog's back. We recommend avoiding choosing a smaller size than indicated by the length of the dog's back. Depending on the dog's proportions and fur type, the appropriate size may be larger than the size indicated by the back length. Another factor to consider is that due to the thickness of the materials, for the coat to fit comfortably on the dog, its waist circumference should be slightly larger than the dog's waist circumference. Depending on the dog's proportions, the strap does not necessarily sit at the narrowest part of the dog's waist.
About the brand:
The first Pomppa products were created by the brand's founder, Meri Alku. After participating in many agility competitions with her dogs, she searched for suitable clothing for her pets that would meet the requirement of combining adequate thermal protection with full freedom of movement, especially during intense activity. With knowledge of textiles, Meri Alku decided to sew clothes for her dogs herself. They were received with such enthusiasm by other dog owners that the designer decided to pursue sewing dog warmers professionally. Over time, the collection has expanded (and continues to grow) to several
