The flap for cats and dogs can be installed in doors, walls, or windows, allowing your pet to enter and exit the house at any time. You don't have to interrupt your activities to let your pet out and then wait for its return to let it back in. The pet door is very easy to use, both for the pet and the owner. The animal simply pushes the transparent flap with its body, and it will lift and automatically fall back down once the pet passes through the opening. The GentleClose™ technology ensures that the flap closes slowly and quietly behind the cat/dog, preventing the animal from being startled or having its tail caught (similar to furniture with a soft-close system). The Big Cat model has 4 opening/closing options that can be changed using a dial: the flap opens in both directions (open padlock symbol) the cat can enter the house, but cannot exit (house symbol with left arrow) the cat can exit outside, but cannot enter (house symbol with right arrow) the flap is completely closed (closed padlock symbol). At the bottom edge of the flap and the opening in the frame, there are magnets that keep the flap in place, preventing excess air from entering the house. Additionally, the edges of the flap are surrounded by a soft strip that increases protection against drafts and also muffles the flap's operation. However, the Big Cat Flap model can also be successfully installed inside the house to allow your pet access to a room where we rarely leave the door open, such as a bathroom. It also works well as an exit to a balcony. The Big Cat Flap can be installed in walls, doors (including sliding doors), and windows (even double-glazed), with a thickness of 25-51mm, made from the following materials: brick, wood, metal, PVC and UPVC, glass. Installation is not complicated, and a special cutter and screws are included to assist you. Both the frame and the flap are made from durable plastic, making the product long-lasting and weather-resistant. The universal white color fits many interiors.

How to teach your pet to use the flap?
After installing the flap, leave it open for a while (you can attach it with a piece of string and tape to the surface above. Ensure that the flap does not fall accidentally, as this may scare your pet). Encourage your pet to pass through the opening using its favorite food or treats. First, feed the animal at the door inside, and then at the door outside. Practice until the pet starts to pass through the opening without hesitation. Then repeat the training with the flap down so that the pet learns to push the flap to exit. Pet and reward your pet each time it passes through the flap. You can also incorporate play into the training, such as using a cat wand.
