PetSafe Drinkwell Pet Fountain is a fountain for cats and dogs that helps you ensure proper hydration for your pet. It provides access to fresh, filtered water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The freely flowing stream of fresh water encourages cats and dogs to drink more, which helps prevent urinary tract infections and kidney diseases. The fountain features adjustable water flow, allowing you to gradually acclimate your pet to this new way of drinking or adjust the stream's volume to your pet's preferences. You can also completely close the circulation at any time, allowing your dog or cat to drink as they would from a traditional bowl. Under the spout, there is a sloped ramp - a special elevation that allows water to flow into the bowl. This design prevents the water stream from crashing onto the surface, thereby preventing splashing around the fountain. The fountain has two replaceable filters - a foam filter and a carbon filter, which remove unpleasant tastes and odors and capture any impurities, such as hair. The water pump is located just at the bottom, below the water level, resulting in quiet operation of the fountain. The stable construction prevents the fountain from tipping over, even during eager drinking. The fountain can be easily disassembled for cleaning, and all parts except the pump are dishwasher safe. The device is powered by electricity (power cord included). The PetSafe Drinkwell fountain for dogs and cats is available in three capacities: 1.8L, 3.7L, and 7.5L.
