SporttiPomppa is a lightweight, breathable, and warm softshell jacket for dogs, designed for use throughout most of the year. It can withstand not only light drizzles and heavier rain but also protects the dog from snow. Ideal for both daily walks and more intense activities. The jacket is made from a two-layer breathable, waterproof softshell, coated with a DWR hydrophobic layer, free from harmful fluorocarbons. The outer layer is smooth, allowing water to quickly run off. The inner side of the material features a soft, pleasant fleece that provides thermal comfort. The jacket covers the dog's back, neck, belly, and rear, protecting them from getting wet and cold. The back part extends to the lower back, while the bottom covers the chest and belly. The high, foldable collar protects the neck. A minimal number of seams reduces the risk of chafing and ensures greater waterproofness. The jacket is fastened with a waterproof zipper, covered underneath with a flap to protect the dog from chafing or accidental fur pinching. It is easy to put on and take off. How to care for your Pomppa dog clothing: avoid unnecessary washing. Besides water consumption, frequent washing causes wear and tear on the fabric and its coating. If there are no visible stains or dirt, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or place it in the freezer to eliminate any odors. If necessary, wash the clothing in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Do not use aggressive detergents, stain removers, bleach, or fabric softeners. After washing, hang the clothing to dry; do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean. The outer layer is coated with a hydrophobic finish, which degrades after multiple washes. You can restore it using impregnation products commonly available in outdoor clothing stores.
Choosing the right size: A well-chosen size ensures the best possible thermal protection and allows full freedom of movement for the dog. The appropriate size protects the most important muscle groups and guarantees that the clothing will stay in place even during sprints or wild jumps. Pomppa jackets and sweatshirts are designed to fit various dog shapes: slim, with a wide chest, or with pronounced and developed musculature. When selecting a size, it is important that the jacket does not restrict the dog's mobility or cause discomfort in any way. The decisive factor in choosing the right size for the KuoriPomppa jacket is the length of the dog's back. We recommend avoiding choosing a smaller size than indicated by the length of the dog's back. Depending on the dog's proportions and type of fur, the proper size may be larger than the size according to back length. Another important factor to consider is that the SporttiPomppa jacket has a SlimFit cut and should fit snugly to the dog's body. However, it should also accommodate the dog's fur underneath (important for dogs with thick coats). The material from which the SporttiPomppa is made is not very stretchy. If the dog's measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
