Description
The Flora Defense preparation contains pure cultures of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii yeast and Lactobacillus rhamnosus lactic acid bacteria, as well as a prebiotic (oligofructose). They exhibit natural resistance to most antibiotics and are not digested in the gastrointestinal tract. The beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus produce lactic acid, which lowers the pH level in the intestines, thereby inhibiting the growth of harmful, pathogenic microorganisms. They stimulate both local and overall immunity in the body. The preparation is intended for dogs and cats struggling with diarrhea, during or after antibiotic therapy. Additionally, Flora Defense reduces the risk of candidiasis (fungal infection), which is a common condition after antibiotic treatment. It prevents intestinal obstruction and the movement of pathogenic bacteria into the intestines. All raw materials contained in the product are Human Grade, which means they are of high quality and safe for human consumption. Available in packages containing 30 and 60 tablets, each weighing 645mg.
Usage: The recommended daily dose of the supplement depends on the animal's weight. It should be administered during meals. For animals weighing 40kg - 3 capsules. If your pet has trouble swallowing the tablet whole, it is recommended to open the capsule and mix its contents with a favorite treat or food. If the pet's diet consists solely of dry food, the dry food should be gently moistened to ensure the tablet's contents adhere to the food and are consumed by the animal.
The Flora Defense dietary supplement is recommended for animals: as support during diarrhea during and after antibiotic therapy where there is a possibility of candidiasis (fungal infection), reducing the likelihood of its occurrence, exposed to the risk of pathogenic bacteria moving into the intestines, and those prone to intestinal obstruction.
